Hunt While You Are on the Island
St. George Island and Apalachicola Bay winter a lot of ducks, and most people staying in the rental houses never know it. We run morning hunts on the bay for redheads and bluebills, and you are back at the house before lunch.
When the wind has the bay blown out, Lake Wimico, off the Apalachicola River, gives us protected water to hunt.
We are building a full St. George Island duck hunting site with everything specific to the island. Until it is up, call or text and we will walk you through it.
We do not combine parties. Your group hunts together, and only your group, every day you are here. We do not run half day hunts. A half day does not build anything, not for you and not for us. The minimum booking is one full day plus one half day, and three days is what we prefer. Three days lets us move with the weather, put you on birds when the wind swings, and actually get to know the people in the boat. Large and small groups both welcome, and there is no minimum number of hunters.
